05 Replace Click

In this lesson we will replace the stock Click with our own. You can create your own click track or use the ones from the support files link provided in the description of part 1. If you do, you will notice that the click will not be in sync with your session, even at the right tempo. In the new Click Track, you will have to adjust the audio region to trim off the first part of the region to the louder click sound. You should see that visually by the taller line or transient in the audio region. Once you do this, you now need to slide the region so that the louder click sound lines up with the internal metronome sound of Garageband. In playback simply click on the metronome icon on the bottom of the screen toward the right.
